Hi BackupPC List Members (and owners)..

One thing that has frustrated the heck out of me is the lack of finding an organized system for feature requests.

Like many of you, I have a few features that would mean a lot to me and perhaps would be useful for others as well, that I would love to see in the next (or some future version) release of the software.

Since the Wiki system seems to be down (which is a bummer -- I would help rebuild it if Mr. Barratt would allow me), does anyone know of a central place that feature requests are posted?

The first 2 features I would love to see is:

1) I want to see *when* a backup is going to run. I've been making changes to the overall schedule of the system, but it seems like all the backups run in the last hour of the non-blackout times. I have 4 particular servers (SQL Cluster Nodes) that need to be backed up within the same hour. I setup the blackout of these particular servers FROM 4am TO 3am in hopes to get them done between 3-4am. But only one of them was fired within that hour, the rest 2 hours later. So -- we should be able to see what our current settings will do and when it will do it. I'm sure there is a configuration that would work for this that I can't figure out -- but it doesn't make the feature any less important :)

2) I want to add several different notes to a past backup for multiple reasons. Especially when running a manual backup as I need to leave a note as to why and what is being backed up at that time. I also want to add notes to any errors that happen so I can record what the problem was, in case several months later I can always search and refer to these notes, or perhaps another SA can without having to contact me.

Those 2 would mean a lot to me and I would happily trade services for them -- I'm pretty good at developing Wiki on the MediaWiki system (we run a few of them internally) and I can bare some of the load of rebuilding the Wiki pages that did not get ported over correctly.

Anyway -- thanks for reading and hope everyone had a great weekend!
