unfortunately no one has replied to this post and i'm still
experiencing the same problem. here is the most recent log entries
(please also look at the logs from my previous post). i've switched
back to rsyncd to see if that would have any effect. it didn't. so it
seems to me that the transfer method has nothing to do with my
particular problem. its strange because if you look at this log it
shows the full backup job that ran on the 17th lasted almost 9 hrs 45
mins, while the full backup job on the 18th only lasted about 3 hrs
and 50 mins. i have no idea what could be causing this problem.

if anyone has any ideas please post! thanks!
