Generally speaking, you do not tell amanda when to make the level 0
backups. Amanda will play mix and match to attempt to use the same
amount of tape per run, which means that after it has been running a
while, a full dump of a given dle might happen on a wednesday one week,
thursday the next week and tuesday the week after that because amanda is
juggling the schedule trying to hit a magic balance point.

You can, but you will have to play tricks with multiple configuration
setups and such.

Amanda must make a level 0 before it can do any incremental's because it
must have a level 0 record to have a starting point.
