Just to double check once more, I've killed iptables on both boxes (server &
client), still not working.
What's the output of /sbin/chkconfig, specifically the bits relating to
xinetd? Also, you mentioned earlier that you have a script which puts the
amanda file in /etc/xinetd.d. Did you modify that file to reflect the
location of the amandad binary on the 64bit client vs. on 32bit clients?
