i would like to backup to CD-RW or later to DVD-RW or DVD-RAM.

There is a Amanda CDRW-Taper tool which comes with debian sarge and
which looks like promising.

I am using amanda 2.4.5 and cdrw-taper 0.3 (which can only write to CD i
think).

In section 4.3 (Required amanda.conf settings) from
http://www.tivano.de/software/amanda/Installation.shtml it tells me to
set some settings which aren´t in my amanda.conf file already. Such as:

- rawtapedev
- tapelist

Is that normal?

If yes, what do i set for:
- tapetype
- tpchanger?
