Yes, it works fine.

iptables -L -n:
/lib/modules/2.4.2-2/kernel/net/ipv4/netfilter/ip_tables.o:
init_module: Device or resource busy
Hint: insmod errors can be caused by incorrect module parameters,
including invalid IO or IRQ parameters
/lib/modules/2.4.2-2/kernel/net/ipv4/netfilter/ip_tables.o: insmod
/lib/modules/2.4.2-2/kernel/net/ipv4/netfilter/ip_tables.o failed
/lib/modules/2.4.2-2/kernel/net/ipv4/netfilter/ip_tables.o: insmod
ip_tables failed
iptables v1.2.1a: can't initialize iptables table `filter': iptables
who? (do you need to insmod?)
Perhaps iptables or your kernel needs to be upgraded.
ipchains -L -n

the last "result" line from planner was:
planner: time 17.466: got partial result for host strata disk
//crinkle/backmeup$: 0 -> 58089K, 1 -> 57952K, 2 -> 57952K
after that I only got "no feture set entries".

No, just that it didn't have a bad estimate.
One more piece of data. I ran a small test 4 DLE's (all small partitions) and
it ran fine (the planner
ran to completion in 10.408 seconds and then the dumps ran fine).

no, etimeout -4600

See small test above.
Thanks again!
