Are you connecting with the correct "index-server"?
You better not try to restore files from the changer device (incorrectly
specified anyway by giving the changer script rather than the changer
device when compiling) rather than from the tape device.
Otherwise, unless /dev/nst0 is not the tape device, I wonder what the
problem is.
