Do you have any suggestion on how you used inetconv for smf usage with amanda, I'm looking through the man page, however if you have any specific application on how this is used with amanda, that would be great.

Doesn't matter that server and client are same computer.
Still needs all the same setup as a remote client.

Try HARD to not use localhost u! se a valid hostname.

Solaris 10, have you used ?inetconv? to switch the
amanda service over to smf?
