The first question is the very obscure path:
/var/samba/projojekte/Laufende/Klingelnberg

The entry in the disklist is
neptun /var/samba/projekte/Laufende/Klingelnberg comp-root-tar


Just verifying, you are very very sure there are no unvisible control
characters in that line?

I checked the amandad.XXXX.debug on backupserver and on backupclientneptun.
I didnt found any errors about neptun und for example /etc


Maybe the word "error" is not in that file.
Did the server ask for "projekte" and got a response for "projojekte"?

Also interesting is the sendsize.XXXX.debug file on the client.
Can you post that one?
