And in rechecking it, you'll note that to do a make clean requires the 
config.status and/or config.cache, which after doing the make clean 
are removed themselves, so it should be truely a from scratch 
re-start.

Also, and I forgot to note it, I have a changer.  If Dean doesn't have 
one, then that line defining the changer device should be removed.
But... Thats not going to cause this manpages problem.  One of the 
reasons I'm a (here we go again, the vi/emacs holy wars) vi/vim fan 
is the simple act of moving the cursor to that line, tapping 'dd' 
then ':wq'   The file is rewritten without that line.  Nothing else 
in that file will be touched, no automatic word wraps or anything 
else to 'pee in your cheerios'.

Your toast however, will land jelly side down according to a formula 
that includes the price of the rug.
