I was silently hoping that you would give more information
than a simple "it doesn't work"...

What version of amanda are you using?  What are the relevant
config settings for this host/disk?
Anything in the logfiles? /tmp/amanda/*.debug ?
Is this a fresh install (with mistakes) or did it work, but suddenly fail?
Is this the only filesystem failing?  It seems you not using gnutar
but dump?
Does the filesystem support dump?   Is the correct dump configured
for amanda ("amadmin x version" please).
