I think this is due to amanda calling gnutar with --one-file-ystem:
(from /tmp/amanda/runtar*.debug:
running: /bin/tar: /bin/tar --create --file /dev/null --directory /var
--one-file-system \
--listed-incremental
/usr/local/var/amanda/gnutar-lists/localhostImap_0.new --sparse \
--ignore-failed-read --totals --files-from
/tmp/amanda/sendsize.Imap.20030524155057.include
and from tar(1):
[...]
-l, --one-file-system
stay in local file system when creating an archive
[...]
I wonder why this would be required though. should this not be an option?
