I  install amanda on an server and two clients:
sever(tape server) - RedHat Linux 7.3
client_1               - RedHat Linux 7.3
client_2               - SunOS, Ultra-5_10
The installation on the clients are similar.
I have no problem to run amdump vs. the client_1.
I have trouble to run amdump vs. the client_2:
The process just hung.
In addition, I could not see the tape drive activity on the tape server.
However, running 'amcheck' is Okay to both clients.
Any Suggestion?
