hi Mark,
do you have the paths for the library client configured correctly on
the library manager? Are the paths up? Al SAN ports enabled on the
library client?
We got successful server-to-server comm, and the library client calls
for tape mounts through the library manager successfully; we can see
the
tape mounts happening. But it appears that the client never gets an
acknowledgement that the tape is mounted; we get
1,353 Migration Disk Storage Pool DISKPRIM, Moved Files: 0,
Moved
Bytes: 0, Unreadable Files:
0, Unreadable Bytes:
0. Current Physical File
(bytes): 52,387,840
Waiting for mount of scratch
volume (335
seconds).
and the migration we're trying to run tries each drive in turn and
gets
ANR8779E Unable to open drive \\.\tape4, error number=123.
before giving up after each drive mounts and then finally dismounts a
tape. There is a firewall between the two servers, but the servers are
obviously talking to each other; otherwise, no tapes would be
mounted at
all.
Anyone seen this before?
