Scheduled backup on this server level seemed to be working fine.
So an upgrade to level 5.4.1 may fix our problem.

Just to add some notes. I saw this posting and thought that we were backing
up zfs filesystems on Solaris 10. I took a look around and tested some
restores and things seemed to be working ok:

I do not know when the process of documenting the limitations of zfs support
will be complete. I will post again when it is done.
As for your solaris admins being unable to backup the zfs file systems via
scheduled backups, please call in for support so that we can work on
collecting data to examine this further.
