Ben,

 Are you sure that you have had no automatic migrations from your disk
pool to your primary tape pool ?  In our case, we set an automatic
threshhold of about 50% on our disk pools to have them start the
migration process to tape before they fill.  ADSM may be simply backing
up data from your tape pool that you did not realize was already
migrated.
