What versions/platforms are you using? I see no such problem on 7.5.3 or
7.4, 32-bit or 64-bit, platforms RHEL or Solaris.
This is on Solaris x64 :
# ldd /usr/sbin/nsrd | grep ssl
libcommonssl.so => /usr/lib/nsr/amd64/libcommonssl.so
libssl.so.0.9.7 => /usr/sfw/lib/amd64/libssl.so.0.9.7
libssl_extra.so.0.9.7 => /usr/sfw/lib/amd64/libssl_extra.so.0.9.7
But this (minor) technical issue is not the real topic here.
It's rather whether the feature 'nsrauth' is really something that somebody
really needs.
Maybe some features are added without a real need for it.
I'm not saying that nsrauth doesn't work, it works fine, but who really, really
needs it?
The feature that I'd like to ask for is, is simple and portable software,
without too many features,
small size of binaries, not too many unnecessary features ?
