Thanks a lot Lancy. That worked. We disconnectedthe first one and rebooted the
box and we could configurethe jukebox, then attached the 2nd one (after
powering down, ofcourse) and then that also worked.
Great. thanks a lot again.

Srini,

You cannot run the fuser command for the jukebox as you have run it below. You
should give drive addresses ( e.g. /dev/rmt/1cbn ) that are displayed in your
inquire command output. You could even try disconnecting one jukebox
altogether and see if Networker can install that library. If it succeeds, then
there might be some setting in the other library that may be clashing with the
other. You should then walk upto your jukeboxes and cycle through all the
settings on your Library Display Menu and compare.

Hope this helps.

We removed the packages from VERITAS netbackup and that didn't change anything.

Carlston,
netbackup is not running. But I am going to try to remove the whole package and
see if that helps in anyway.
Thanks

Srini,

Do you have NetBackup installed on this box? If you have NetBackup
installed and running it has a lock on the jukebox (I guarantee it).

You would need to shut down NetBackup (/etc/init.d/netbackup stop) and
then do your jukebox operations. The jukebox control drivers for
NetBackup and NetWorker do not play together at all. :-)

Thanks,

Carston
