i use easier schedule to achive the wanted result.

1. start NetWorker Admin
2. Options > Customize > uncheck "Display schedule as calendar"
3. Create a new schedule
4. period:      week
   action: skip skip skip skip skip skip skip
   override: full first sunday every month
5. Options > Customize > check "Display schedule as calendar"
6. Edit Your new schedule and go back and forth in the years and you
will see, that the schedule is "endless"

Does this procedure work only on MS Windows or on Unix as well? Are Unix
users stuck with using nsradmin for this?

I don´t have access to a unix networker machine until new year. The
syntax is the same (i think its the getdate syntax from unix). If the
NetWorker admin on unix does not support this way to edit the schedules
you can take nsradmin. The syntax is pain in the ass, but it works.

./nsradmin -i schedule.lst

schedule.lst:
-----
create type: NSR schedule;
name: 1st sun full monthly;
action: skip skip skip skip skip skip skip;
override: full first sunday every month;

create type: NSR schedule;
name: full example;
action: full full full full full full full;
override: ;

quit
------

hope it helps.
