We have a 3494 library. In AIX, you can run the following command :

mtlib -l /dev/lmcp0 -qL

/dev/lmcp0 is the name of the library device which is FC attached to our TSM 
server 

Output will be similar to the following then scroll down to the available cells 
left line  :

If I do a 'show slots library_name' it will show me the details, but I
