+1 With one exception ..” as long as they are not on tapes that are in use” – true, unless 2x/streams were multiplexed onto the 3 tapes in a parallel manner—which would allow for multiplex restoration as well, but as we all know that can be more complex when you are trying to get the user-initiated backup off tape from a DB backup due to how they are run/configured. Unless I read that wrong, your 6 streams are on the same tapes. That means that only one stream from each tape is going to be restored. Once your other streams complete, these should kick off along with additional streams, as long as they are not on tapes that are in use.
