Totally, agree with what you have mentioned, integrating VTL in any
existing enviroment is a chalange and not a peice of cake as what some may
think.
Paramount are design considerations, number of Devices, Storage nodes,
cloning etc, other software vendors may have edge in regards to how they
handle cloning , i.e dual copy etc, vs networkers cloning.
Jbconfig could consume lot of time along with fighting with Device and OS
as the number of devices increase, so does configuration errors and
posibilities.
I am sure there are ways around it, especially,with new look of Networker
GUI and config Wizard might help you configure the devices easier.
VTL itself is easy to configure and assign in most cases, you may want to
definatly look at products maturity, support etc before buying.
My advice is keep it as simple as possible vs trying to configure too much
to start with.
