Hello Vince,

OK, here are some facts on the installation: Yes, we do MB backup once every
week. 807 mailboxes is backed up and it takes about 22 hours. The whole
exchange db is about 39 GB. Works fine (apart from restarting and doing the
backup once more when it finishes). We are using a disksystem from Dothill
(former Chapparall) with SATA disks in a RAID 5 array and backup to disk.

We do have module 4.1 already so that was not the solution for the
"repeating backup" :-(

Hi Hans,

I was surprised to hear that anybody is using NetWorker to do mailbox
backups, it's far too slow for us to use - our setup is NW server 7.1.2.
under Solaris 8, Exchange 2000 (400 mailboxes) and NME 4.0.1 under
Win2k.

Can I ask how many mailboxes you back up?

Does anyone else do mailbox backups?
