Hi.

Can anyone confirm that base jobs with fileset different than the normal
job should not be used?
The base jobs can use any fileset and even an other client if you want.

Basically the problem arises when restoring data because fileset needs
to be selected too, but:

1) normal job with fileset different from it's original job is not found
on restore
When you select a job for restore, the process will automatically
includes files from basejobs (looking the BaseFiles table). The FileSet
of the Base job doesn't really matter during the restore.

Good, then I guess the problem is caused by a bug in the old version (5.2.6) of Bacula director we currently have in use. Fortunately we'll be upgrading very soon to version 7 now, and then I can confirm it works properly there.

BTW, when we restored the job that used Base job underneath, no files were restored from Base and for every file there was the following error thrown instead:

Error: create_file.c:416 Unknown file type 24; not restored: /path/to/file.txt
