Bacula will discover that the needed volume (not volumes) is not in
the changer then it will block and prompt you (in the messages  even
by email if you have that set up) to insert the volume. It will also
unload whatever volume is in the drive that it selected.

You insert the volume.

Then wait till the changer has finished inventory.

No. Bacula will probably remain blocked. This is fixed by issuing the
mount command inside the bacula console.

> 6. Bacula loads needed volume and reads
> 7. Bacula ejects first volume and returns it to mailslot

Bacula will put the tape back in the mailslot, then prompt for the
next volume. Just repeat what you did above ..

> 8. remove first volume and insert second volume
> 9. issue update slots
> 10. Bacula retrieves second volume from mailslot and reads
> 11. Bacula returns second volume to mailslot
> 12. Remove second volume from mailslot
> 13. Issue update slots to inform Bacula that mailslot is empty
