Yeah,

The retention already was set to 6 days, i just adjust maximum volume jobs to 2, reload and updateed the pool.

But it didnt work. When the backup starts it appends to the end of the tape and dont recycle it.

Did you then try (in your pool)

Maximum volume jobs = 2
Volume retention = 6 days

Check these

# bacula-dir -t /etc/bacula/bacula-dir.conf

And then apply these changes to bacula inside bconsole

bconsole

reload


update

Then choose "Pool from resource"

and select the correct pool.
