I've one DDS tape for each day. And them should be reused one week later. But since i configure 2 jobs to write on one tape, bacula doens't recycle them anymore.

That is why i want to force it to be purged every time the job starts.

Other methods may be more appropriate if you describe what exactly you
are trying to do.

I mean if all you want is every day wipe out the old volume before the
backup (I do not recommend this policy) you set volume use duration to
a few hours and volume retention also to a few hours such that the
total backup time + volume use duration + volume retention is less
than 24 hours.
