I don't really think backuppc is a good fit for this unless you also
want a history of several days/weeks copies of these files saved as a
side effect.

You should probably configure the EPEL yum repository and use 'yum
install backuppc' to do the install.  The way yum works, it will
install any needed dependencies so it won't matter much what you
installed initially.

I don't see how you expect backuppc to help with this process.   If
DPM or whatever process controls it can see a windows share, why not
use samba to share the directory where the file is stored?  Backuppc
can get a copy daily from some specified location and store in its own
archive format, but you'll have to do something else to get it back
out again.
