[BackupPC-users] Problem excluding hidden files and folders on Ubuntu 9.

Hi,

I have an issue when trying to exclude hidden files and folders on a Ubuntu 
9.10 server using the 'tar' method. Based on my configuration, backuppc claims 
to run

  /usr/bin/env LC_ALL=C /bin/tar -c -v -f - -C /home/backup --totals --
exclude='./.*' .

but the hidden files and folders do not get excluded, see log below.

When I run the EXACT SAME COMMAN manually on the same server under the backuppc 
user, it works just fine.

Any help is appreciated
