[BackupPC-users] how can I find out how much space a given host uses?

How can I find out how much space a given host uses in backup?
One method would be to do:
# du -sh pc/somehost
But this is an "expensive" operation (lots of IO) and it can take really
long (i.e. days).
Are there any other methods? The web interface only gives values per
backup#, but it does not reveal total values for a given host.
