I am backing up to an nfs share -- specifically, I have set
/var/lib/BackupPC to be a link to an nfs share.

I would like to check to see that the share is mounted before any
action since the machine hosting the nfs share sometimes goes down or
is disconnected from the net.

I tried using DumpPreUserCmd but it occurs too late -- i.e. BackupPC
first does a test hardlink between "/var/lib/BackupPC/pc/mypcname" and
"/var/lib/BackupPC/cpool" before that which obviously fails if the nfs
share is down.

So, ideally, I am looking for a "hook" to run in advance of any web or
backup operation that needs access to /var/lib/BackupPC.

Does such a hook exist?
If not where would be the best place in the code to hook into?

Thanks
