Maybe not a problem, but I recall my robots were generally only a 2 to
3 minute lag, back when I was using them. Seagate 4586n's,
admittedly pretty cheap though.

I saw that too, and figured somebody would catch it as the message was
fairly old by the time I saw it. And I agree. Maybe its time the
default etimeout was raised from 5 minutes to 10 or 15?
