chg-zd-mtx configuration file problem

i configured chg-zd-mtx, it works ok, besides that does not reall all
parameters from the config file
some parameters are read an some not, strange.

i then modified the cgh-zd-mtx directly and it works ok, but it would be
nicer if it reads the config file
properly.
