Using rhosts authentication ?

If the is anyone on this list using rhosts style authentication
instead of amandahosts? Can you send me an e-mail and allow me to ask
you a couple questions about your configs?
Also, what are some reasons for using amandahosts, as opposed to
tcp-wrapper-protected rhosts? If anyone want to share the rationale
for use of amandahosts, then I would be very interested in hearing
your views. I am interested in learning reasons why amandahosts may
be preferred...
Does anyone know where the Amanda authentication code is located
(specifically) in the source tree. Maybe by reading the source I
might get me a clue. I presume it is in server-src, howver I cannot
find a filename that indicates it might be the one. I also have no
items found when grepping for amandahosts in that directory...
