How about:

backup stg tapepool copypool preview=volume wait=yes

This will give you a list of tapes that are needed to get the tapepool
and copypool in sync.

Subject: [ADSM-L] How to copypool large number of tapes

I have a client that does monthly backups of each node using a
<nodename>_M naming standard. This data goes into a LONGTERM_3584
storage pool and is then copypool'd into LONGTERM_VAULT. The problem is
that not all of these tapes were copypool'd. And there are so many of
them that they can not all fit into th library (3583). The client wants
to have these tapes copypool'd. I've been rotating a few tapes per day
into the library and doing a BA STG. Some days this command only runs
for a few minutes and quits without copying any data. How can I verify
that the data on the primary pool tapes is indead on the copypool? All
these primary tapes are ACC=UNAVAIL to keep them from being requested to
be mounted. When I issue the BA STG command, I get screen fulls of the
ANR1229W message for each tape that is UNAVAILABLE...including the ones
that were in the library and had the BA STG command run against them.

If I compare the occupancy of the LONGTERM_3584 with LONGTERM_VAULT, I
come up wiht around a 12TB difference.

How can I rotate these tapes into the library and guarantee that the
data is copypool'd?
