In experimenting with Win32 desktop, I've noticed a behavior that I'd
like to change.

Presently, when I log with a Win32 desktop to Tivoli the windows client
appears to pass its computer name or hostname to the Tivoli
Framework. I'm basing this assumption on what I've gleaned from the
error messages I've observed when attempting to launch wxterm or NetView
GUI. (Actually, this also comes into play with SIS).

Unfortunately, in a mixed environment if the windows box is using WINS
or DHCP, then the DISPLAY is set to a name that might not be resolvable
from a UNIX box. This problem would go away, if I could force the
Win32 desktop to pass an explicit IP address instead of the hostname.
Does anyone know if there is a way to force this?

I realize that this can be partially solved by updating /etc/hosts on
the Managed Node, but there are some scalability problems there, and the
solution doesn't cut the mustard for the DHCP case. (Please don't
suggest UserLink!!!)
