Re: Acknowledging events ( workaround)
A work around might be to add a new entry for 'acknowledged' into the Change
pull down context menu.
Events > Options > Change Severity > from all Workspaces
> from All Users
Once the new entry has been added then the procedure might be to have each
change the severity of the events they've worked to resolve. You would also
to change the Search criteria to include 'acknowledged'.

I am not very inventive, so I cannot see any way our events windows could
be set up to do this sort of thing.
We'll let you delete them from your workspace, but that's about it, and the

I think that your client doesn't know it, but he has just handed you a

be part of the product, then please describe what you want and why in a

Subject: Acknowledging events
Our client has added a requirement to be able to acknowledge all events,
i.e mark them as read without deleting them. I do not think that the
NetView Events window can be adapted to do this but there is no harm in
asking for any suggestions.
Thanks in advance
