You're pushing out a custom tarball anyway so edit client_config
before you do. At the top of the script, add /usr/local/bin to PATH and
you should be okay.
I checked a couple of random systems here and a
Solaris 10 system has /usr/bin/gunzip and a Solaris 9 system had
/usr/bin/gunzip -> gzip. Other Solaris 9 and 10 systems had the link to
/usr/local/bin/gunzip. I'm not sure what the real story is there or if our
admins aren't being very consistent in how/where gunzip is being made
available...

update_clients and update_dbclients fail because they can't find gunzip in the
PATH on the client, saying PATH is set to /usr/bin:/usr/sbin. Gunzip is
in /usr/local/bin. I've tried setting the path in /etc/profile,
/.profile, /.kshrc but currently to no avail and have had to bodge it by
creating a symlink /usr/bin/gunzip on each client for the duration of the
upgrade.
Does anyone know a
way around this? Or am I missing something.
Solaris 9 clients,
Solaris 9 master. (Our Solaris10 servers are OK, having
/usr/bin/gunzip).
