Hello,

I'd like to be able to tell what storage unit a given drive name belongs to. Is
there a way
to do this using Netbackup commands, without having to maintain a list in a file
somewhere?

The reason I want to do this is because I need to ultimately map a drive name to
the robot
silo it's attached to, and I can find out storage unit--> silo with bpstulist,
so if I can determine
drive name--> storage unit, then I can find out my ulitmate goal, drive name-->
silo.

I'm writing some perl scripts to keep history on tape drive usage, report % busy
for every drive
in the datacenter for every half hour, etc, and the people who care about this
data would like it broken
down by silo. Some more illustration below... Thanks! -Jay

# stulist below. The "4" (field 5) is the robot silo number.
#
# piggy_r4 2 piggy-nb 8 4 13 3 0 "*NULL*" 0 4 2000 *NULL*

# vmoprcmd below. How do I tell for sure what storage unit "piggy-3", for
example, is a member of?
#
# 0 dlt TLD - No - -
# 1 dlt TLD - No - -
# 2 dlt TLD - No - -
# 0 piggy-3 No -
# 1 piggy-1 No -
# 2 piggy-2 No -
