[Veritas-bu] Not reading bar codes very well

Looking for suggestions...................................

We have a Sun-L1000 tape library.
It has started having problems reading bar code labels.

When we execute an inventory (from the library, not via NetBackup), 25-30%
of the tapes in the library
are reported as "no barcode."

We then have to play games, manually moving tapes from slot-to-slot, or
slot-to-load port, until
the bar code is successfully read.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
