there is no client license that sits on the client itself. the client
licenses or license packs (e.g. 50 client) get installed on the master.
you could look at the master and see how many are "technically" licensed
from it's standpoint, but as pointed out below, it doesn't internally
check this number against the number of clients configured in policies or
anything. it's pretty much the honor system, at least for clients.

Nope. Licensing is just a piece of paper and there are no technical
restrictions to prevent you from installing and running 1 licensed copy
of the client on as many clients as you want. It would not be legal to
do this (obviously!), but since there are no restrictions, the only
proof you have is the paper trail.
