don't forget the beginning directory. It took me a while to figure that
out.

compare

# ./bplist -C yoda -s 12/18/2003 -R -l / | more
drwxr-xr-x root root 0 Aug 26 09:27 /home/
drwx------ ddobbs ddobbs 0 Dec 08 12:45 /home/ddobbs/
-rw-r--r-- ddobbs ddobbs 24 Oct 21 2002
/home/ddobbs/.bash_logout
-rw-r--r-- ddobbs ddobbs 191 Oct 21 2002
/home/ddobbs/.bash_profile
-rw-r--r-- ddobbs ddobbs 124 Oct 21 2002
/home/ddobbs/.bashrc
.......

to

# ./bplist -C yoda -s 12/18/2003 -R -l | more
EXIT STATUS 227: no entity was found

Here is one way (using a date and time period of April 17-18, and a
certain
time-of-day, for the sake of this example):

If you have a UNIX Master, and you want to create a list of a Unix
client,
you need to log onto the Unix client and do:

bplist -R -s 04/17/2003 23:00 -e 04/18/2003 18:00

Another scenario:

bplist -C client_name -t 13 -R -s 04/17/2003 23:00 -e 04/18/2003 18:00
>
output_file

-t 13 means that it is an NT windows client 0 is a standard 4 is
Oracle

-R means recursively lists subdirectories encountered to a depth of n.
In
the above example the default is used instead, which is 99.
