[Veritas-bu] OTM vs VSP (veritas snapshot provider)

The VSP first appeared in 4.5 FP3, We had to turn it off, as it created =
huge image files on the backup clients and brought performance to a =
crawl.  I spoke to Veritas Tech support about it and he laughed and =
stated we call VSP "Virus Spreading Program" here amongst out tech =
support people.  I have no idea if its better in FP4 or FP5...

Hi,  have any of you upgraded netbackup 4.5 to FP5 so that you are no =
longer using OTM for Windows servers.  Is VSP a better tool for backing =
up open files and is it more reliable than OTM.
