Hi,

I have a Sun E220R with Sun's rebanded Qlogic HBA's X6767A connected the SNC
5100 (scsi/fibre bridge) on our ADIC 1000. I can see the drives and the Robot
with the sgscan command and can run backups. The problem I'm having is that
when
netbackup is done with a backup session and wants to put the tape back in the
slot, it wants to do so while the drive has not been ejected. As a result,
netbackup down's the drive, even though there is no problem. I can manually
tell
the library to rewind/eject the tape, no problem. Here is what i get in the
messages file:

Here is the output of sgscan:

/dev/sg/c0tw2001006045170e3bl1: Changer: "ADIC Scalar 1000"

Any ideas? I just wanted to know if someone had come across this problem in the
past, before I call up Veritas.

Thanks in advance!
