A non-primary copy of an image is promoted to primary if the primary

This is a great idea, and something I'm trying to get a lot more people to
do. My only change is that I wouldn't make them the primary copy until the
images have been expired from disk. That way, recent restores will come
from disk.

Use Vault to back up the catalog, and disable the other backup. Vault's
backup is MUCH better than the standard way.

Leave the stuff on disk as long as you can. That's a good question about
the duplicates. I'm not sure about that answer.
