[Veritas-bu] Multi-stream NDMP backups?
2002-05-15 00:45:40
Hey!
What I've done here is to create a script that runs every night (crontab)
that dow a listing of the directories you can find under /vol/vol0
and output it to the /usr/openv/netbackup/db/class/*/includes
(/vol/vol0/<qtree>) and then use the multiple streaming.
Make sure that you dont over stream it , since it creates a snapshot for
each backup.

All,
Can an NDMP backup class be multi-streamed? The storage unit, the client,
and class all appear to allow multi-streaming. But how does one set up the
file list to allow it? If you have one mount point - /vol/vol0 - can that
be multi-streamed? The manual says that you can't use a wild card in the
file list. You can't use ALL_LOCAL_DRIVES. Is it possible?
Thanks for any help!
