Yeah i noticed that but this is happening mid backup during the night time,
i keep the media manager synced with the robot by running a script each
day:-

#Reloading and inventorising tapes for media manager

NBDIR=/usr/openv/netbackup/bin
MMDIR=/usr/openv/volmgr/bin
ADMINDIR=/usr/openv/netbackup/bin/admincmd

###### Script ######
#Interactive
#$MMDIR/vmupdate -x -rn 0 -rt tld -rh `uname -n` -vh
`uname -n` -interactive -use_barcode_rules

#non-interactive
$MMDIR/vmupdate -x -rn 0 -rt tld -rh `uname -n` -vh
`uname -n` -use_barcode_rules

Surely netbackup should know where it has taken tapes from and put them ,
and not try and put them back to somewhere which is full.

It only seems to be happening with this drive.

Dave

Check out the first line in the log below. It can't move the tape
from drive 3 back to slot 22 (where it originally came from). Take
the tape out of slot 22.

      Why is it called tourist season if we can't shoot at them?
