You don't need SSO option (if it's a passive-active cluster).
NBU will see two paths to drive, and only one will be used when doing drive
configuration.
That's my 0.2$ thoughts.

Subject: [Veritas-bu] Planning Netbackup in a VCS Cluster
Hi dear list members !
I'm about to plan, what I need for a Netbackup Server clustered with VCS
1.3.
First of all we'll be using STK 9840 because of their FCAL ability. STK says
they're
dualported, so I assume I can have two paths to a single drive connected to
each
cluster node via a san.
How does Netbackup handle the two paths to a single drive ? Do I need the
SSO option
to handle this ?
Any help ?
Regards
Axel Kunzet
