The issue is obviously already happening at the beginning of the data transfer 
phase. It tries to send data for 30 minutes and then fails.

The problem is obviously an authentication issue with the NW server 
(ken-backup-02) where the backup device is ready (associated with a nsrmmd 
process, which cannot be contacted).

Now why does this happen? - no idea so far. Even though NW should wait for a 
media from the same pool.

My suggestion: 
  Increase the 'Device monitoring' parameters (server resurce > media tab > 
nsrmmd polling interval' by the factor 10)
