Possible? (Persistent binding makes no difference)

1) In a unix environment, persistent binding should make a difference.

2) In a windows environment the device manager plug-n-play driver by default
will re-assign the order of drives no matter your FC configuration
\\.\Tape0, etc...

 This can be fixed by either using the IBM tape driver, or by making a
registry change per KB 873337. This changes the device from dynamic
\\.\Tape0, etc... to static \\.\TapeXXXXX based on the tape's WWN
